Today, I’d like to share A Hollow Heart by Adrienne Vaughan

After some traumatic events, including her fiancé, George’s unexpected death, and stress at work as a journalist, Marianne decides to move to Ireland for a break. There she runs into Ryan, a famous actor she’d met in England. George and Ryan had been friends in their youth. This short paragraph is taken before she had even thought about leaving England or meeting Ryan again in Ireland.

What a lovely surprise! Thank you so much Luccia for that fantastic review of my debut novel, The Hollow Heart. I was quite moved reading it, you reconnected me with Marianne and Ryan who I lived with (and loved) for quite some time … I still get emails and questions about them and their fiery, passionate relationship. (Oh, and about Miss Macready too).

Lovely read. I remember being knocked out by the first page of that book – the first in Adrienne’s trilogy.
When I read the next two it made me want to find that Irish isle on a map, and go and live there.

What a cracking idea Shelley – and great review, Luccia. If I hadn’t already read A Hollow Heart, this blog post would have encouraged me to download it. It’s true what Adrienne said, about reacquainting oneself with characters from books already published. In my case, I think its the heroes I think about most of all (a complete romantic, see?) When the time comes to hang up my pc I will revisit my old novels and fall in love with the characters all over again. In the meantime, keep ’em coming Adrienne, and keep writing fabulous reviews, Luccia.
