Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in on the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing it, between Thursday morning and Saturday noon and linking up on Norm’s blog here.
I took these photos last weekend walking around Fuenlabrada, Madrid. Lots of decorative and safety, iron bars, as well as solid wood. Which do you prefer?
Iron and Wood
Iron, dark, cold, robust,
Twisted safety behind bars.
Wood, warm, welcoming,
Embellished shelters.
Rigid and regal main doors,
Sun seeps in through cracks.

Such a wonderful variety of colours, styles, patterns, and textures. That second green one has so many beautiful details to it: so pretty.
Excellent collection this week 🙂

Lovely! I’ve been known to stop and take pictures of doors in my travels as well 🙂

They are all wonderful, but that 2nd green one would probably be my favorite. I like how it, the black one, and the blue one have the pops of gold setting them off. It just pops a little more on the green – maybe it’s a fresher paint 🙂
