Morning has broken,
Flooding moonless sky
With light that’s too bright
To write, or even speak.
Thoughts fly into dawn
Like a bird in the sky.


Sometimes, as Dylan Thomas told us, the sky’s too bright, life’s too overbearing to see clearly, and our minds too slow to capture the creative moment, but that’s an artist’s work, to find words to make sense of what we see and feel…
