You told me once, ‘move on, never return.’ I obeyed
Til last night, when I dreamt I slipped back
Inside and you were still there, weathered yet waiting.

  Thanks, Olga! Flash fiction is a great incentive for language economy. Less can be more, but it’s so hard to restrain oneself with longer fiction!
