The Haunted Castle

She stood the test of time,

Towering proudly on the summit,

Watching over the raging sea,

Howling in the wind, ‘Come back!’

Convinced he must obey her,

The Queen of the haunted castle,

Terrified the travellers who dared

To venture through the ancient arch.

‘I’ll stay in my mighty castle,

Till the stones have ground to dust,

And the seas have all gang dry,

My love, I’ll wait till the end of time.’
