Shimmering river
Cool water bathes banks,
Sliding under Roman bridge,
Flowing, calm, serene,
Ignoring battles and Kings,
Bows only to nature’s whims.

Thank you💖
The river Gualquivir has witnessed plenty of battles, Kings and Queens, since before the first Roman settlements well over 2000 years ago!
