The moon in daylight Must feel very out of place Alone in blue sky Missing twinkling stars. Sometimes The sky’s too bright to be loved. Displaced, waning moon Staring at the glorious sun In cloudless, blue sky. Everyone ignores pale moon While the bright sun is shining.
